Non-invasive
Ultrasonic
sensors detect liquids through metal wall of a container or tank.
For this, they generate a high frequency ultrasonic pulses whose
echo is detected and evaluated by the sensor and compares the actual
echo with the taught curves representing the empty and filled status
of the container and sets the output accordingly. |

RFID
identification system is where the Data are exchange by
electromagnetic waves. The system operates wear-free and non-contact
and is insensitive to temperature fluctuations (Hi-temp data
carriers), dirt as well as water and oils. The Turck identification
system can be individually matched to every application due to the

The new
“interface module cartridge“ (IMC)
TURCK offers interface modules with M12 connectors for the distributed area in IP67 design. Thus, the explosion hazard isolation level is shifted away from the control cabinet directly into the installation and contributes increasingly to the decentralisation of the installation structure.
The on-site use is enabled by the 3 GD approval, i.e. the application in explosion hazadous areas (zone 2) with combustible dusts or gasses.
The new solution provides a maximum of flexibility with a version ideally suited to the application. |

Temperature
dependent resistance signals are output as linear temperature
current signals with the intrinsically safe temperature transducers.
The temperature transducers are mounting in terminal housings, type B.
TURCK also provides temperature transducers for connection to the FOUNDATION FIELDBUS and PROFIBUS PA. |

excom®
is a remote I/O system for the use in explosion hazardous areas (zone 1). It comprises bus-compatible remote input and output modules with IP20 for the connection of binary and analogue intrinsically safe field devices. The specific Ex approval of the system permits use in zones 1 and 2. The field circuits are approved for zone 0.
The system consists of power supplies, gateways, I/O modules. The backplane is integrated in the module rack. The power supply modules ensure the supply of the entire systems (with MT18 up to 2 power supplies, redundant operation). |

it is possible to plan and implement tailor-made solutions for I/O IP20 applications. There are gateways available for the connection to

The connector programme comprises male and female connectors, male and female flange connectors, field-wireable male and female connectors, extension cables, 8 and 4-port junctions, Y-junctions and block junctions in M12 x 1, M8 x 1, Ř 8mm, 1/2‘‘, 7/8‘‘, M16 x 0.75, M23 x 1 technology. Connectors with premoulded cables come in standard lengths of 2, 5 and 10 m. The extension cables come in standard lengths of 1, 1.5, 2 and 5 m. Special lengths and cable materials are available on request
Field-wireable connector types complement the range, so that the customer can continue to use existing cabling concepts. There is a female connector for every pluggable TURCK sensor. |
